Chelsea are eyeing a move for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez in January, the Mirror reports.
The 24-year-old is into his second stint at Camp Nou but has struggled for playing time, making just three appearances all season.
Ernesto Valverde views Suarez as a more attacking player, which also puts him in competition with Malcom and Munir El Haddadi as backup to the club’s superstar front line.
The Blues see Suarez as an ideal replacement for 31-year-old Cesc Fabregas, who is set to depart the club with his contract expiring at season’s end.
