Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign the highly-rated Tanguy Ndombele.
The Sun says reports in France claim United are chasing the 21-year-old Lyon midfielder, who could cost £90million.
Ndombele has played 27 games across all competitions for Lyon this season, in which he has scored two and assisted four.
Manchester City, Barcelona and Tottenham are also said to be tracking the player who only signed a new five-year-deal at Groupama Stadium in September.
Real Madrid playmaker Marco Asensio is reportedly a target for Tottenham in the January transfer window.
The Daily Mirror says reports in Spain claim Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino wants the 22-year-old, but has had an initial approach rejected as Asensio is said to be keen to stay in his homeland.
The Mallorca native, who has five years remaining on his contract, has scored 28 goals in 125 matches for Los Blancos.
The Spaniard has also been the subject of interest from Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG.
Liverpool are considering a bid for Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross, the Daily Mirror reports.
The paper says Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is weighing up a £15million move for the 27-year-old as he looks to strengthen his squad for their Premier League title bid.
Gross scored seven goals and provided eight assists last season and was also named Brighton’s Player of the Year.
Klopp is a known admirer of the former Ingolstadt star, having seen him play regularly in Germany while he was at the helm of Borussia Dortmund.
