Tottenham plan to muscle in on Everton’s permanent deal for Barcelona castoff Andre Gomes, according to reports.
Gomes, 25, is currently rebuilding his career, and shattered confidence, on loan at Goodison Park. He has impressed across eight Premier League run-outs.
The Sun have stated that Spurs’ desire to placate manager Mauricio Pochettino after a summer of transfer inactivity has seen them set their sights on the Portugal centre midfielder.
The Toffees have no option to buy Gomes, meaning other clubs can come in for him at the end of 2018/19.
