First it was rumoured to be Chelsea but now Arsenal appear to be the new landing spot for Barcelona outcast Denis Suarez.
The Independent claim Barca have given the green light to Suarez’s agents to secure a move back to the Premier League, where he started his senior career with Manchester City.
He would be available for just £14 million, according to the report, and it would make sense for an Arsenal side looking to replenish their ranks while letting Aaron Ramsey’s contract run out in the summer.
Gunners boss Unai Emery knows all about the 24-year-old midfielder thanks to his loan spell with Sevilla in 2014/15, where he appeared 47 times and scored six goals.
It is understood that Suarez has been offered to a number of clubs as Barca continue to unload their unwanted talent into the Premier League, with Lucas Digne, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes all making the switch to Everton during the last transfer window.
