Paul Pogba’s snub at Liverpool has pushed him closer to a return to Juventus from Manchester United, according to Tuttosport.
Pogba, 25, was an unused substitute, once again, for the Red Devils as they went down 3-1 against their bitter rivals on Sunday. This decision by manager Jose Mourinho has intensified rumours of a deep rift between the pair.
The Old Lady sold Pogba back to United for £89.9 million in August 2016. His circuitous career may now even continue in January, as exit plans accelerate.
It is likely that Juve would try to tempt United with a part-exchange deal. Brazil left-back Alex Sandro has been linked to this arrangement.
