Chelsea and Tottenham have reportedly held talks with Mats Hummels’ agent over a potential deal for the out-of-favour Bayern Munich defender in January, according to Bild.
The 30-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the Bundesliga champions and is currently third choice behind Jerome Boateng and Niklas Sule.
The German publication reports that Hummels is unhappy and is keen on leaving the club in the winter transfer window.
Hummels, who has two years remaining on his deal at the Allianz Arena, has made 98 appearance since joining from Borussia Dortmund in 2016.
