  • The winter transfer window is just a few days away, fueling rumours of various players potentially being on the move.

Across the world of football, there remains plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen when the market reopens in January.

    GONZALO HIGUAIN

AC Milan striker Higuain wants to link up with Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea, according to Sport Mediaset.

The Argentine has struggled to make an impact at the San Siro since his loan switch from Juventus in the summer, scoring just five goals in 14 Serie A games.

It is understood Blues boss Sarri has huge respect for Higuain, who he worked with at Napoli, and was interested in bringing the Argentine to Chelsea in the summer. The 31-year-old netted 38 goals in 42 matches under Sarri in their only season together at Napoli in 2015/16, before he signed for Juventus.

    EVER BANEGA

Reports concerning the reunion of Unai Emery and Banega certainly seem to be gathering some steam. The midfielder’s release clause of £18m has been well documented while Lasexta report that the Sevilla star’s agent is already in London to discuss the move to Arsenal.

Argentinian publication Ole now suggests that Raul Sanllehi will not take no for an answer from his target and is adamant about acquiring the Argentine midfielder despite Sevilla’s attempts to tempt Banega into a new deal.

    ALLAN

Paris Saint-Germain are lining up an €80 million bid for the energetic Napoli midfielder Allan, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The French club are preparing to lose Adrien Rabiot once his contract expires and have identified Allan as a potential midfield reinforcement.

Napoli, however, are determined to keep one of their prized assets, having already turned down a massive bid for Kalidou Koulibaly from Manchester United.
