Manchester United have reached an agreement for the sale of midfielder Marouane Fellaini to Shandong Luneng, Press Association Sport understands.
The divisive midfielder is set to end his five-and-a-half-year stint at Old Trafford and head to China.
Fellaini has passed a medical and been given permission to discuss terms with Shandong, who have reached an agreement in principle with United.
The move is subject to paperwork and the 31-year-old posted a photo on Instagram on Thursday morning of himself at an airport alongside the phrase: “Let’s go.”
