Reports suggest that Barcelona have agreed personal terms with Eintracht Frankfurt forward Luka Jovic.

Jovic – who is at the German club on loan from Benfica – has scored 14 goals in the Bundesliga. It’s highly likely that Frankfurt will exercise the option to buy him and Barcelona will have to negotiate with them in the summer.

Cuurently, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reports that Jovic’s agent and the Catalan club have agreed personal terms.

However, the club denied this and told AS: “That’s not true. We like him, yes, the same as many other footballers but it doesn’t mean we have an agreement with him and with his agent in the absence of an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt.”

It’s no secret that the Spanish giants are after the Serbian attacker, especially with Luis Suarez turning 32 last month. They will have to fight against European heavyweights like Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Real Madrid to secure Jovic though.

Thanks to inflation and the heavy sum they paid to acquire Frenkie de Jong, Barcelona might have to pay yet another hefty sum for the Serbian. The German club could ask for up to €75 million and additional add-ons.
