  • Reports suggest that Chelsea star Eden Hazard’s move to Real Madrid will be made official in the next few days. He will be joining Rodrygo and Eder Militao as the first few arrivals at Madrid in the summer.

The transfer fee is believed to be close to €100 million according to Marca.

Chelsea halved their asking value from last year mainly due to the improvement in the relationship between the two clubs thanks to Mateo Kovacic’s transfer and the fact that Hazard is on the final year of his contract.

The winger has always spoken in admiration of Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and never shied away from admitting his desire to play under him.

The Frenchman too has always been a huge admirer of Hazard. In fact, he even urged Madrid president Florentino Perez to sign the Belgian during his time at Lille.

While Perez decided against it at that point of time, a marquee signing is the need of the hour now, with Madrid suffering one of their worst seasons in recent times.
