  • Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez claimed that he is calm about his future despite little clarity on his next club.

Currently on loan at Bayern Munich, it is believed that the Colombian won’t be allowed to continue with the German club on a permanent basis, given how he has slowly faded away from the starting line-up.

With Madrid keen to cash in on him, Rodriguez’s future is still in the air ahead of the Copa America.

The 2014 World Cup start claimed that he is calm about his situation and will focus on doing his best with the national team in the upcoming tournament.

“I’m in selection mode now,” he said, via Marca Claro.

“I’m calm and I just want to think about the Colombia team and later we’ll see.”

“Physically I’m very good. I believe I am doing very well already,” James said following the match.

“I just wanted to get here well and I’m on a very good road.”

Napoli and Manchester United are the two teams Rodriguez has been linked to.
