Valencia have announced an agreement with Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala that will see him join the club on a two-year contract.
The 28-year-old Frenchman signed for City in a £32million switch from Porto in 2014 and put pen to paper on a 12-month contract extension earlier this year.
A statement on Valencia’s official website read: “Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Eliaquim Mangala that results in the French defender becoming a Valencia CF player until June 30, 2021 pending the completion of the definitive paperwork.”
Mangala was previously on loan at Valencia during the 2016/17 season.
