  • Lucas Moura's goal put Tottenham into the Round of 16.

Lucas Moura’s dramatic late goal sent Tottenham through to the Champions League knockout stages by earning a 1-1 draw at Barcelona.

Spurs, who had to match Inter Milan’s result against PSV Eindhoven, were heading out of the competition and into the Europa League for the second time in three seasons as they trailed to Ousmane Demebele’s early goal for most of the game and the Italians came from behind to level.

Here’s a look at how the players rated.

    STARTING XI

Hugo Lloris 6 – Oddly for a visiting goalkeeper at Barcelona, Lloris had little to do – the Frenchman only faced three shots on target, and made comfortable saves from two of them.

Kyle Walker-Peters 4 – A tough initiation for Spurs’ third-choice right-back, whose error led to Barcelona’s goal and who looked ragged throughout.

Toby Alderweireld 6 – Kept his cool in defence, making sure Tottenham dealt with Barcelona’s most threatening moments with minimum fuss.

Jan Vertonghen 6 – Alongside Alderweireld, helped Spurs largely contain the threat of their hosts, even as the full-backs left them vulnerable on occasion.

Danny Rose 5 – Should have won the game for Tottenham, missing a glorious late chance. Beaten too easily in defence on occasion.

Moussa Sissoko 7 – Helped Spurs stand their ground in midfield, making sure they were never overrun. Showed his versatility by switching to wing-back towards the end, and performing just as ably there.

Harry Winks 6 – Stood his own in midfield, not fazed by the stage or the pressure of the situation. Beaten for Barcelona’s goal – though that was Walker-Peters’ fault more than his.

Christian Eriksen 7 – His set-piece delivery was below his usual standards, but his overall play was not. Controlled the game for Spurs – who actually had more possession, against Barcelona, at the Nou Camp.

Dele Alli 6 – A strangely uneventful game from Alli, who was tidy in possession without making an impact further up the pitch.

Heung-min Son 5 – Should have killed the game with the chances he had. Saw a one-on-one saved and produced a couple of weak shots from dangerous positions.

Harry Kane 6 – After a quiet first half, Kane sprung to life after the break, setting up the goal and creating more Spurs chances.

    SUBSTITUTES

Erik Lamela 5 – Was wasteful after coming on in the second half, misplacing a few easy passes.

Lucas Moura 8 – The hero of Spurs’ night. Probably should have scored earlier, failing to get enough on a header and allowing Cilessen to make a save, but made no mistake with his second chance.

Fernando Llorente N/A – Came on late in the game, but barely had a sniff of goal or any opportunity to make an impact.
