  • Emotional rollercoaster: Maurizio Arrivabene.

Ferrari's team principal Maurizio Arrivabene appeared a bit restrained last Sunday after Sebastian Vettel's triumph in Malaysia, even sending Diego Loverno, the team's chief of operations, to the podium ceremony.

    – Australian GP ruined Kevin Magnussen's IndyCar chances
    – Fernando Alonso's premature Ferrari dismissal

But the Italian did endure a short while later a personally emotional moment when a text message was delivered to his cell phone.

"I just wanted to remain calm," he told Sport Bild.

"But when I saw the message on my phone, I just broke down."

Sabine Kehm, Michael Schumacher's manager, had watched the Malaysian Grand Prix with Michael's wife Corinna from the Schumacher's home in Switzerland.

She had subsequently sent Arrivabene the thoughts and congratulations on behalf of herself and the seven-time World Champion.
