The Color Run returns to Abu Dhabi next month and if you want to see for yourself why it’s dubbed as the ‘Happiest 5k on the Planet’, then register on Monday.
The iconic Yas Marina Circuit will welcome thousands of people on Saturday, March 12, as they run, walk or jog, doused from head to toe in a kaleidoscope of colour powder around the track.
With tickets costing Dh160, anyone can enter, but must follow just two rules: turn up in immaculate white and cross the finish line showered in colour.
Ever since the first edition was held in the UAE in Dubai in 2013, the event has gone from strength to strength, attracting big numbers of people from different nationalities and ages.
Last year’s Dubai run saw an incredible 12,000 participants enjoy the experience at Dubai Autodrome and next month’s Abu Dhabi run looks set to be no different. Among those who will be turning out is Omar Nour, Egypt’s first professional triathlete and ambassador of the event’s sponsor Daman ActiveLife.
