Children will not be short of options for entertainment over the next three months thanks to Dubai Kartdrome’s Summer Camp.

In partnership with Gulf Star Sports, the camp got under way on Sunday, and runs in weekly sessions (Sunday to Thursday) from 09:00 to 13:00 until August 25.

Open to youths between seven and 15-year-olds, the kids can look forward to plenty of fun and exciting activities.

On the agenda during the five days, includes indoor karting, laser tag, simulator racing and billiards competitions, while there’s prizes up for grabs.

The Dubai Kartdrome and Gulf Star Sports are no strangers to organising summer camps. Now running in its fourth year, it has gone from strength to strength attracting hundreds of youths over the summer.

Considering there are 40 places available per week, it’s for that reason that parents should not wait long in enrolling their children.

“Gulf Star Sports have been offering summer camps in partnership with Dubai Autodrome for the past four years and every year, these camps have proved to be very popular,” said Matthew Ralton, senior operations manager of Gulf Star Sports.

“The first few weeks of the summer generally sell out so we advise parents to contact us quickly to book. The kids always go home happy, and we find many of them return throughout the summer.”

He added: “The Kartdrome camp will act as a welcome change from the normal multi-sports summer camps where kids tend to be tired of the same games and wide age ranges.

“With us, the kids will experience a high adrenaline thrill ride from start to finish. We are unique in that we are the only summer camp offering go-karting and laser tag during the day.”

Prices are Dh1,150 per week, while sibling discounts and day passes are also available.

With the camps already proven to be a big hit, Ralton insists there’s plenty of advantages for children.

“Parents who want their kids to enjoy fun activities this summer should definitely consider the Kartdrome Summer Camp. They have the opportunity to learn new skills with fantastic tuition from the experts at the Dubai Autodrome, under the guidance of expert coaches and qualified teachers at Gulf Star Sports,” he said.

“They will make new friends and we ensure that every child thrives within this competitive environment. Kids never leave this camp disappointed and they only leave wanting more.”
