World number one Dustin Johnson claimed his second Saudi International title in two years, winning by two shots and finishing 15 under par.
Johnson, 34, has been a dominant figure at the Saudi International, winning the inaugural Championship in 2019 and finishing runner-up in 2020.
A hat-trick of birdies on the 11th from fellow American Tony Finau threatened Johnson’s lead, however a birdie on the 13th from the world number one ensured he headed into the final round with a two-shot lead.
Speaking about the tournament on Saturday, prior to his victory Johnson said: “I would say the game is in better form right now than two years ago, but I think I holed a lot more putts two years ago than I did this year so far. But there’s always tomorrow.”
Dustin Johnson has been a proud Hublot ambassador since 2017 announced their partnership in 2017. Speaking at the time he said: “I am honoured to join the distinguished list of Hublot Ambassadors, especially since I have always been such an admirer of their timepieces. Each one is so unique, unlike many of the other luxury brands, which I appreciate and enjoy. I am very excited about the partnership and hope to hoist a few trophies with a Hublot on my wrist.”
Speaking of the current Masters Champion, Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe praised Johnson’s winning attitude: “He also reminds us that each shot on the golf course is crucial; we need to constantly excel ourselves and start over.”
