After the success of the event at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club over the past two years, the EGF is excited to work with the Abu Dhabi Golf Club for this year’s competition.
In addition to the announcement, HSBC has been confirmed as sponsors of the Presidents Cup for the next three years with the aim of continuing to grow golf in the region.
HSBC is certainly on the right track with impressive golf events like the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and worldwide influence on junior golf programmes. The EGF is expecting HSBC to have the same impact on the Presidents Cup going forward.
H.E. Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, EGF Chairman said: “The 2016 Presidents Cup is shaping up to be a great event. As the tee times quickly fill up, we are expecting to have one of our largest fields in Presidents Cup history.”
