Let's be honest, the UAE summer is not the most pleasant of climates. But while much of the country goes on standby, there is still plenty on offer around the Emirates.
Indeed one of the added advantages of the UAE summer is the incredible offers available at all the major golf clubs around the country.
On that note, Sport360 have put together a full and comprehensive guide to all the golf clubs in the UAE and their summer offers.

ABU DHABI GOLF CLUB & SAADIYAT BEACH GOLF CLUB
The two stunning Troonmanaged golf courses in Abu Dhabi – Abu Dhabi Golf Club and Saadiyat Beach – have laid out the red carpet for golfers to experience the awardwinning courses.
Apart from special summer green fees and academy rates, they have also tied up with a luxury hotel each for fantastic stay-and-play rates.
Following are some of the offers: Stay and Play Packages (valid until September 14):
At Abu Dhabi GC: The package includes a deluxe room at The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort and Spa (Dh999 net single occupancy, Dh1,099 net double occupancy), two rounds of golf per room (two rounds at Abu Dhabi Golf Club or one round each at Abu Dhabi Golf Club and Saadiyat Beach Golf Club), breakfast and 20 per cent discount at the Spa and for F&B.
At Saadiyat: Includes a Superior Room at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort (Dh1,199 single, Dh1,299 double), two rounds of golf per room (two rounds at Saadiyat or one round each at both clubs), breakfast, and 20 per cent discount at the spa and F&B.
Summer Green Fee: Both clubs have special rates until September 14, broken into two Renovation periods (June 1-30 and August 17-September 14), and the Summer rates between July 1 to August 16.
For both courses, the Renovation peak rates are Dh450/375/325/300/195 for rack/ EGF/Member Guests/twilight/junior. The corresponding non-peak rates are Dh325/250/225/200/195.
The Summer peak rates are Dh500/425/375/350/195 for rack/ EGF/Member Guests/twilight/ junior and non-peak rates are Dh375/300/275/250/195.
Night golf rates at Abu Dhabi Golf Club for nine holes are Dh295/250/225/175 for rack/UAE residents/member guests/juniors. Summer Bundles: On both courses, purchase a 5 to 20 bundle of rounds, to be used until September 14.
Apart from the use of golf course, you can also use all practice facilities while card is valid. The price for 5/10/15 rounds (valid all seven days) are Dh1,650/3,000/4,125. Weekday bundles for 5/10/15/20 rounds are Dh1,250/2,250/ 3,000/3,500.
Night golf bundle (available only at Abu Dhabi Golf Club) offer for 10/15/20 rounds are Dh2,250/3,000/3,500. Academy packages: Ramadan promotion at both clubs. Dh750 for four 30-minute lessons and academy membership for one month.

ABU DHABI CITY GOLF CLUB
Abu Dhabi City Golf Club, popularly known as ‘The People’s Golf Course’, have promotions going on during the period of June 15 to August 31. The Summer Sizzlers include 15 nine-hole rounds for Dh1,599, 20 rounds for Dh1,999 and 30 rounds for Dh2,799.
The rounds can be played anytime during the week and includes shared golf carts. Single nine-hole rounds can be played for Dh99 and 18 holes for Dh195 during off-peak hours (weekdays 5:30am to 3pm and weekends after 8pm) and Dh129 and Dh248 during peak hours (weekends 5.30am-8pm and weekdays after 3pm).
The club, conveniently located inside the city, also have ‘Member for a Day’ scheme. For Dh250, you not only get to play unlimited golf, but also have the full use of all facilities such as the swimming pool, gym, sauna and tennis courts.
A day membership also gets you a 10 per cent discount on F&B. The academy has various packages this summer, including the Intensive Lessons program, where you can book five, 10 or 15 hours of coaching time from PGA professionals for Dh1,499, 2,899 and 4,499.
These come with specific numbers of practice balls, ninehole green fees and club vouchers.

YAS LINKS, ABU DHABI
This summer, Yas links will be extending incredible value throughout all areas of the club with the return of their incredibly popular loyalty program, the MEGA-winning Yas Links Summer Passport.
This complimentary passport (free from the club) rewards repeat use, so the more you use, the more value you gain on many experiences within the club, including weekend and weekday green fees, golf lessons, dining in Hickory’s or pro shop purchases.
Just one of 19 offerings is called the ‘Weekend Green Fee Reducer’, whereby from 10am onwards, your first round on the Links Course would be Dh499, the second would be Dh399, third Dh299, fourth Dh199, fifth round Dh149 and the sixth round would be free – working out to a net rate Dh257.50 per round. Once six rounds are completed, your name gets entered to win an Academy Membership.
In addition, the passport also contains 2 for 1 offers, reduced prices and discounts at the Academy, dining and pro shop – all to be enjoyed until September 30. For example, a breakfast at Hickory’s will cost Dh65 the first time, and then reduce to 55, 45, 35, 30 and 25.
Summer Academy Membership: The Summer Golf Academy Membership at Yas Links is a great way to initiate yourself to the sport. It gives you free practice and access to play the Par 3 Academy Course as much as you’d like until September 30.
In addition, you get 10 reduced rate vouchers to play the Links Course both for weekdays and weekend play. This membership is for Dh1,850, and represents over Dh5,000 in savings.
Also available are Golf Lesson Packages. Three 30-minute lessons, including week-long Practice Pass, is Dh450, while five lessons will cost Dh600.
