If you’re looking to fine tune your golf skills or learn something new then the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club has some exciting deals this month.
With 2014 soon coming to an end, Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club has started its Golf Academy Festive Offers.
Their programme includes the ‘Golf Tuition’ and the ‘One Day Golf Experience’. The latter consists of four hours of practice with an introduction to golf, learning how to putt, chip and pitch. It’s ideal for those who are beginners with qualified PGA Professionals overseeing the classes.
“The One Day Golf Experience is a new concept that we just recently introduced,” said Martin Duff, director of golf at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club.
“The Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club is quite far out from Dubai and Abu Dhabi and it’s a chance for people who haven’t seen the club to give the sport a try. It’s a good experience for those do sign up because it can lead to more lessons or practices, perhaps play the sport more often and can make a really nice Christmas present.”
Prices for the ‘One Day Golf Experience’ start from Dh399 per person for three or more people, Dh499 for two or more, or Dh799 for one person. There is no minimum age to sign up with Duff saying it’s ideal for families and friends.
The ‘Golf Tuition’ programme is aimed for those who regularly play golf and want to develop their skills further.
There are three different packages to choose from; a one-hour golf lesson (Dh295), three lessons for Dh650 and five sessions for Dh900. And golfers will be able to analyse their performance using the Trackman facility.
“The Trackman is the industry’s leading piece of technology that will tell you all the type of data you need to know about your swing and the shot itself,” said Duff. “It can tell you about your driving distance, control, swing efficiency and accuracy.”
Both deals run until December 31 and classes need to be booked in advance. And Duff is calling for people not to miss out on this opp-ortunity.
