Ali and Sons Audi, the exclusive Audi dealer in Abu Dhabi, on Tuesday announced the renewal of its sponsorship of Abu Dhabi's Yas Links golf club.

The strategic partnership, now in its second year, will see the return of the Audi Quattro Cup in which golfers in the UAE capital will begin their campaign for a spot in the regional and international finals.

The Audi Quattro Cup is an international amateur golf tournament series in which nearly 100,000 competitors play more than 800 rounds of golf across 53 countries.

The 2016 contest will kick-off in March with golfers across the world competing first locally and then regionally for a spot in the global final.

Howie Roberts, General Manager of Yas Links said: “The UAE and increasingly Abu Dhabi have become a global golfing destination, and the Audi Quattro Cup is one of the largest amateur golfing tournaments in the world. It’s a perfect fit for Yas Links.

"Our goal is to thrill, excite and challenge golfers, as well as help them perfect their game. The support of our partners is key to this so it is a great pleasure to welcome Ali and Sons Audi as a returning and valued sponsor.”

Ali and Sons Audi will also host monthly golfing tournaments for Yas Links’ members and guests with prizes and Audi experiences up for grabs.
