  • Real Boxing Only gym (RGB LLC) has teamed up with Adidas and Go Sport at Mall of the Emirates for a weekend of fighting fitness.

Nestled right in the front of the store, the gym will drop its 24 x 24-foot boxing ring – ready for action!

Starting at 17:00 with a junior boxing demo, Go Sport will be hosting a series of demonstrations on boxing for fitness and for competition right in the centre of the massive sports store.

There will be a variety of kids and teens boxing classes, demos by professional and amateur boxers, female boxer demonstrations, public work-outs by the gym’s Scottish super-welter weight champion Stefan Sanderson and British professional boxer Waleed ‘Dynamite’ Din with trainer Anthony ‘Chill’ Wilson– as well as adult boxing technique classes on November 8, 9 and 10 – from 17:00 to 21:00 Thursday and 16:00– 20:00 Friday and Saturday.

The event also marks the launch of the new Adidas Hybrid boxing collection which is a comprehensive range that is designed to optimise the boxer’s energy return and improve the speed of their movements. The Hybrid range provides an array of gloves that equip everyone in the boxing community from the enthusiastic kids to the empowered women to the serious athletes.

“Boxing is an exciting way to get fit and it is for everyone! We believe boxing not only creates great fitness habits achievable by anyone, it also increases one’s mental and emotional strength – which is vital in city life,” says Michelle Kuehn, Managing Director, RGB LLC.

“The city of Dubai will see that through boxing they can change physically in 30 days with just 30 minutes of boxing daily. Boxing is an exhilarating sport, and we want to make an impact on the city by sharing those benefits; it is fun and empowering to men, women and children alike.

“We believe that you can become the best version of yourself through boxing, and the best people make up the best city. So, come down to Go Sport and let’s get the city of Dubai boxing!”

“This month, in store we are focussed on the Dubai Fitness Challenge and working out 30 minutes a day for 30 days! So we chose for the weekend of November 8, 9 and 10 to focus on one of the most intense sports, boxing!,” says Bas Bouwman, Brand Marketing Manager, Almana Fashion Group – Sports Division.

“Because in just 30 minutes of boxing one can burn up to 300 calories – plus it is a huge stress reliever, which is what this city needs! We see Real Boxing Only gym as our first choice in a boxing fitness partnership as we both believe fun fitness is at the core of a happy and healthy life here in the city of Dubai.”
