The third iteration of the Dubai Muscle Show takes place this weekend – and it is set to be bigger and better than ever.

Taking place at World Trade Centre on December 7/8, some of the very biggest names and brands in fitness, exercise and bodybuilding will be attending.

The area covered by the show will be twice that of last year, and will now feature the Dubai Active Show – more mainstream health and fitness classes, seminars and information go run alongside the Muscle Show.

Here, we take a look at some of the star power at the event.

    Brian Shaw

Professional strongman competitor and four-time World’s Strongest Man winner, American athlete Shaw stands 6ft 8 inches and weighs in at a mammoth 200kg. A consistent podium placer at all top-level competitions in strongman, Shaw is available for meet-and-greets at the Wawan Protein booth throughout Dubai Muscle Show weekend. Shaw will take to the stage on Friday, December 7 at 5.30pm to share his wisdom on training for strength and achieving personal bests.

    Kai Greene

‘The Predator’ is now a global star. Greene made a name for himself outside the muscleman arena last year with his role as Funshine, the warrior with a heart of gold, in season 2 of Stranger Things. Renowned for his impressive performance in past Mr. Olympia competitions – he came second in the 2012, 2013 and 2014 shows – fans can hear Kai discuss everything from his humble beginnings and future plans to his rivalry with fellow Mr. Olympia contestant Phil Heath.

    Michelle Lewin

Boasting more than 13.2 million followers on Instagram alone, Venezuelan Lewin is a bona fide fitness entrepreneur with her own apparel brand, nutrition and gym equipment company. Fans can discover how Michelle earned her title as a social media sensation when she hits the stage with Dave Palumbo on Saturday, December 8 at 2.30pm. Fans can also meet her throughout the show at the One0One Booth.

    Jay Cutler

Four-Time Mr Olympia Champion, Cutler, has transitioned from an IFBB Pro Bodybuilding Champion to the world of business, with his own supplement and clothing line, as well as multiple non-fitness related businesses. His much-documented rivalry with fellow bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman – also heading back to Dubai for the event – will resume when the pair take to the stage on Friday, December 7 at 3pm, where Dave Palumbo will grill them on the ins-and-outs of their relationship.

    Ronnie Coleman

The term legend can be thrown around with little to no care these days, yet if there’s one bodybuilder who fits the description it’s Coleman. Still known as ‘The King’ to this day, Coleman boasts more Mr. Olympia titles than Arnold Schwarzenegger and has been crowned champion eight times during his career. Coleman also claimed victory in the IFBB 26 times. Get up-close-and-personal with the superstar throughout the weekend at the Ronnie Coleman Signature Series Booth with New Rock Sports.

    Dorian Yates

At his peak, Yates, a six-time Mr. Olympia, was renowned as one of the best bodybuilders of all time. Yates made a name for himself for his “blood and guts” training style, machine-like focus, and, of course, super-sculpted physique. Having recently made a move into the realm of fitness nutrition with his DY Nutrition Shadowline range of cutting-edge supplements, lucky fans can discover all about his period of dominance in the sport, as well as how he has built his supplement brand since retiring. Yates is holding an exclusive on-stage interview on Friday December 7 at 4.30pm.

    William Bonac

One of the most successful African bodybuilders in the history of the sport, Bonac is the pride of an entire continent. Hailing from Ghana, the IFBB pro bodybuilder is much loved for his confident, down-to-earth attitude, and of course, his supersized arms and legs. While it took him almost two decades to reach the 2016 Mr. Olympia stage, he most recently took home his first pro victory win at the 2018 Arnold Classic.

    Kevin Levrone

One of the most talented and beloved bodybuilders of his time, Levrone hit peak status back in the ‘90s – the golden era of bodybuilding. Following his retirement in 2003, Levrone returned to the stage at Mr. Olympia in 2016 and again at this year’s event. Fun fact: after his bodybuilding career wound down, Levrone formed the rock band Full Blown, for which he was the lead singer. Eager fans can rub shoulders with Levrone and his tremendous triceps at the Kevin Levrone Signature Series booth with Power Magic throughout the weekend.

    Dana Linn Bailey

Dana Linn Bailey is an American IFBB Pro fitness and figure competitor. She was the winner of the Olympia in 2013, and came runner up a year later. Since then she has done everything from powerlifting to Ninja Warrior. Boasting a huge online community and social following, Dana is now helping people out with her DLB fitness plans and programs and is a huge ambassador for female participation in all things health and fitness.

    Angelica Teixeira

Angelica was the winner of the 2018 Bikini Olympia – the third straight win in the event for the Brazilian. Since turning pro in 2015, Teixeira has dominated the bikini division accumulating an impressive ten, first place finishes.
