The FIT Awards return to validate the UAE’s top fitness professionals with submissions now open across various categories. Sport360°, in partnership with FitnessLink and REPs UAE, will hold the 2015 edition of the event on December 10 at The Els Club, Dubai.
From more than 2,500 registered professionals across more than 160 venues, the FIT Awards will recognise the best of the best in the health & fitness industry in 16 categories, three of which are new this year. Submissions are now open across the three overarching categories – Professional, Business/Facility and Campaign.
Professional has awards like Fitness Club Manager of the Year, while Business/Facility features Facility of the Year and Campaign has Health Marketing Campaign of the Year. The three new awards are for those across the GCC – inclusive of the UAE – and are GCC Recreation & Leisure Facility Manager of the Year, GCC Recreation & Leisure Facility of the Year, and GCC Fitness Event of the Year.
Each submission will be overseen by a judging panel of 18 of the region’s industry experts and facilitated by Deloitte and Touche. The shortlisted finalists will be revealed at a press conference in November and the winners will hear their names announced during the black-tie gala dinner on December 10.
