  • Simply the best: Australia recorded 100% records in in both 2003 and 2007 World Cups.

Australia’s golden generation of stars who ruled the world cup from 1999-2007 made their team invincible with their dominant show in all aspects of the game may it be batting, bowling or even fielding as they claimed a hat-trick of titles.

Such was their supremacy that the Kangaroos went unbeaten for 25 matches in the world cup history which included 100% records in both 2003 and 2007.

It was just not the hat-trick of titles but it was a hat-trick of drowning Asian teams in the final – with Pakistan in 1999, India in 2003 and Sri Lanka in 2007.

So far Australia have won four world cups with their maiden triumph coming back in 1987 and they can make it the fifth with the event being held in their own backyard this time around where they will serve as co-hosts.

With the achievement, Australia would become the Brazil of cricket as the Latin American country has five FIFA world cup crowns.
