As ever Twitter took centre stage as the host for one of the most talked about discussions in the history of Test cricket as, for the first time ever, a day/night Test match begun in Adelaide on Friday.
And it was largely positive stuff from the Twitter community, with fans and players past and present joining on the micro-blogging site to share their delight in the spectacle.
If Twitter is anything to go by, day/night Tests will definitely have a future in the game.
