  • Oman's Ahmad Al Harthy is determined to get the championship back on track.

    Oman Racing Team driver Ahmad Al Harthy will be aiming to secure his first points of the 2015 season when the Blancpain Endurance Series visit the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit this weekend.

    Despite being on the pace in the season-opener at Monza in Italy, a series of issues hampered Al Harthy’s progress behind the wheel of an Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3.

    Al Harthy said: “Monza wasn’t the start to the season we wanted, we were just very unfortunate.

    “We are determined to get the championship back on track at Silverstone, a circuit I always love racing at and one where we have enjoyed good success in the past,” added the driver from Muscat.
