Usain Bolt stormed across the finish line ahead of Andre De Grasse and Christophe Lemaitre to win the 200m final in 19.78 seconds on Friday morning for his third straight Olympic gold in the event and his eighth title in the Games overall.
Bolt dominated the narrative leading up to and during the Olympic Games and lived up to his reputation, blowing away the competition and emerging as the undisputed track superstar.

Unfortunately, we won’t be treated to the sight of the Jamaican speeding down a track in the Games again. He confirmed after his victory that his celebration of falling to his knees on the track was his way of “saying goodbye.”
