    Peter Schmeichel is one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time.

    Now retired, the Dane is best remembered for his successful stint at Manchester United, whom he captained to the 1999 UEFA Champions League title.

    With 292 appearances over an eight year spell at Old Trafford, Schmeichel won numerous silverware, including five Premier League titles, three FA Cups and a UEFA Super Cup. He was also part of the successful Denmark team that won UEFA European Championship in 1992.
