Nelson Piquet’s awkward interview is the pits
Former driver Nelson Piquet conducted a cringeworthy interview with Lewis Hamilton on the Brazilian Grand Prix podium, asking the British ace about his pop singer girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger. Let’s just say no one was impressed.
Piquet: I have been jealous of you, not only for your driving but also your girlfriend. Where is Nicole? Hamilton: She’s at home.

Piquet tells Hamilton he’s jealous of him because of his girlfriend: “Say hello to her!” He then forgets to ask Hamilton a question! #F1

“Hey, is there any chance we can carry that pre-podium awkwardness on to the podium?” “Yeah, let’s get Nelson Piquet to do the interviews.”

Alexis Sanchez speaks too soon
Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez fell into the trap of tweeting before playing as he predicted his side would down Swansea last weekend. Instead, Swansea beat the Gunners 2-1 and members of the Swans squad taunted Sanchez for speaking too soon.
Ermmmmmm… “@Alexis_Sanchez: Going to sleep! Tomorrow those 3 points are coming to London!!! #GUNNERS pic.twitter.com/2PvjMF9nuD”

Seems like 3 points stay in Swansea. Great team performance again #SWANS

London calls for Grigor Dimitrov
Grigor Dimitrov blew off a stand-by spot at the ATP World Tour Finals in London for a trip with his girlfriend Maria Sharapova.. in London!!!
Not only did he miss out on a chance to play at the elite season finale, he also passed on a chance to be part of Tomas Berdych’s epic ‘selfies’.
His presence in London did not go unnoticed by the ATP World Tour, who urged him to “pay a visit” to the O2.
Irrespective of why Dimitrov chose to skip the Finals, that pose in the photo he tweeted is inexcusable!
