  • The world’s best Jet Ski racers will thrill water sport fans and beach goers alike in Abu Dhabi Cornishe.

    We look at the sporting events lighting up the UAE over the next seven days including some of tennis' biggest stars and UAE Jet Ski race, while the weak are separated from the strong at the Reebok Spartan Race.

    Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships

    The world’s biggest tennis stars come to town in what is one of the UAE sporting calendar’s most celebrated events. This year eight out of the top 10 WTA players heading to Dubai to fight for the DDF crown including reigning champion Venus Williams and Caroline Wozniacki, while Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Andy Murray headline the men's competition.

    Thursday, February 19 – 21
    Arabian Gulf League – Week 17

    All teams are in action this weekend including table-topping Al Jazira, who are looking to maintain their winning streak as they host lowly Al Dhafra at the Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium. Second-place Al Ain will be quietly-confident of a win on the road against struggling Al Fujairah in another match to look out for.

    UAE Jet Ski Race (Heat 2)

    The competition boasts some of the world’s best Jet Ski racers who will thrill water sport fans and beach goers alike as the competitors ride the waves of excitement. Set near the shores of the Abu Dhabi Breakwater, the race will enable spectators to follow up the competition very close proximity.

    Reebok Spartan Race Presented by X-Dubai

    With over two million competitors across 21 countries and self-titled as the world's best obstacle course, period, The Spartan Race comes to the UAE to find the Spartan warriors among average citizens. There will be live entertainment, food and beverages for both Spartans and spectators.
