    The awards will contain 13 updated categories and entries are open to brand and business owners, key sport administrators, event directors, sponsorships and agencies together and or government facilitators, profit and non-profit organizations.

    ABU DHABI WARRIORS FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP

    For the second time, the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) championship brings together 20 fighters who will face each other in 10 fights. MMA is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and the event aims to help establish Abu Dhabi as a landmark for the international tournaments, through bringing in new talent and supporting the development of youth in the UAE.

    DUBAI CREEK DRAGON BOAT SUMMER FESTIVAL

    Dragon boat racing is an ancient sport that is thought to have originated in China in about 500 B.C. Races are usually about 500 meters long, but because they are informal, the distance and rules of the event can vary from place to place. Dragon boat racing is a great way to get outdoors, get a bit of exercise and meet people.

    The region’s premier equestrian event pays tribute to the Arabian love affair with horses and is also one of the UAE’s biggest social and sporting events.
