Players and fans flock to the King Of the District 2.1 Basketball event held in Dubai

  • Basketball tournament: The event was a huge success

    Over 200 participants and basketball fans get caught up in the excitement of the CMC King of the District basketball tournament.

    The one-on-one tournament, organised by All In Sports and Jam Sports Academy took place the 4th and 5th of June 2021, for the second edition at Al Ittihad Private School – Jumeirah. Along with the intense one-on-one matches, there were also three point and skills challenges at the action-packed two-day event.

    The category winners included Mamadou Ndiyae for King of the District in the men’s category and Rose Ouma was crowned Queen of the District in the women’s category. Mohammed El Masri won Rising Star of the District in the U18 Boys category, while Melissa Khairallah award in the U18 Girls category. Wael Sleiman was crowned Rising Star of the District in the U14 Boys category, Ibrahim Mohsen won Rising Star of the District in the U12 Boys category and Omar Choucair was the victorious Rising Star of the District U10 Mix category.

    “This year’s event was over the top,” said All In Sports Founder and CEO Elie Assaf. “We were expecting 300-350 participants and attendees, although we have received over 500+. Thanks to all the supporters, sponsors, each and every one who contributed to this success. We’re looking forward to announcing new projects and events soon with Jam Sports Academy.”

    “We have witnessed a high-level of performance in all players categories which made the competition more challenging and exciting. Hand in Hand with All In Sports Services, we made the second edition of this event a booming.” Said Jam Sports Academy Co-Founder and Managing Director Ahmad Sleiman.

    Assaf and Sleiman also took the time to thank Al Ittihad Private School – Jumeirah, for hosting the tournament.

    The King Of the District 2.1 event was held under the supervision of Dubai Sports Council, and was sponsored by Clemenceau Medical Center-Dubai, Masafi water and Delta Insurance Services, Intercat Cateriya, Vitamin Well, Bakalland UAE, All Original, Wooden Bakery, Jabbour Restaurant, Infinite Ski, Signature 1 Hotels, Rayna Tours, Awani Levant, Miyabi, Akiba Dori.
