  • Serving aces: E-Sports offer tuition in tennis and a number of other activities at their camps.

With temperatures soaring, it can prove challenging to keep children busy during the summer months. But E-Sports has a perfect solution with their holiday camp which is one not to be missed for youngsters.

Open to children between four and 14-years-old, the camp runs from Sunday to Thursdays at various locations across Dubai as well as Abu Dhabi’s GEMS World Academy from 09:00 to 13:30.

The youngsters can look forward to taking part in five different sports and activities every day with football, swimming, tennis, dodgeball, dance and music, gymnastics, rugby and cricket all on the agenda.

Fees vary according to location, with daily charges ranging between Dh150 to Dh250 per child, while attendance for all five days costs between Dh650 and Dh825.

With the emphasis on children to thrive, learn and develop, E-Sports have become one of the leading holiday camp providers in the UAE and each year it has gone on from strength to strength.

“We have achieved the leading role in camp management by being committed to delivering engaging and stimulating activities within a safe and positive environment,” said E-Sports general manager Martin Southern.

“Our team work hard to ensure that each of our venues is a positive, happy place to be for children, parents and staff alike. We offer a balance of sport and art and craft activities, ensuring each session is perfectly suited to the age and ability of the camper.

“We take full advantage of our locations with great facilities with health and safety always being our top priority, ensuring your peace of mind.”

The youths will be grouped according to age and gender with each activity, lasting 45 minutes, overseen by qualified coaches.

With fun and exciting activities, it’s no surprise that the camps have been hugely popular with children and parents. “I love coming to camp. I have so much fun and I have made lots of new friends,” said six-year-old Laurie Vanderbrigghe.

And parent Deborah Rabot, whose daughter Maddison attends the camp, added: “Maddison has been coming to camp for the last four years and has loved every minute of it.

“She learns new skills each time she comes and finds new interests. It is great for her to be active during the holidays and not sat on her iPad and it is a fantastic way for her to meet new friends.”
