Entering the 89th edition of the PGA Championship as the title holder, Tiger Woods was at the top of his game in the event.

On this day in 2007, Woods won his fourth PGA Championship and his 13th major with a score of 272 at Southern Hills Country Club in Oklahoma. He led by as many as five strokes in the final round, but his bogey on the 14th hole put Woody Austin within a stroke of the lead.

Woods bounced back with a birdie on the next hole and then parred in to fend off Austin, who finished two strokes behind in second place. With the victory, Woods improved to a perfect 13-0 in majors when holding at least a share of the 54-hole lead.
