Following the smashing success of Daman’s ActiveLife inaugural Electric Run at Meydan in Dubai earlier this month, tickets have gone on sale for the Abu Dhabi event taking place on January 29, 2016 at the capital’s iconic Yas Marina Circuit.
Early Bird ticket prices for the World’s Brightest 5K night run are priced at Dh165 for individuals and are currently sold online at www.ElectricRun.ae. Prices will increase on December 9 so those interested should buy their tickets soon.
This global event has toured 30 cities around the world including Los Angeles, Singapore and London and electrified more than one million people.
Helping people kick start the new year on a healthy note, Daman’s ActiveLife Electric Run will be a celebration of health and happiness where participants can run or walk the 5k course through a kaleidoscope of neon lights and energetic beats. The run then culminates into an end-of-race concert featuring UAE’s favourite DJs playing heart-pounding music.
Title sponsor National Health Insurance Company – Daman, through its ActiveLife initiative, aims to bring events to the UAE that encourage local communities to get active and stay healthy in fun and exciting ways.

Abu Dhabi Electric Runners will be taking to an updated 5k course across the motor racing circuit, with further improvements to the event experience in Dubai promised by organisers.
“Based on the feedback we’ve received from Electric Runners who joined us at the Dubai event we will be making improvements to the Abu Dhabi event such as providing complimentary water to all runners during the 5k route as well as at the finish line,” said David Sanderson, Race Director from event organisers Fast Track.
