Back and better than ever, this year’s edition will be held on Friday, April 1, and includes the 21 kilometre distance for even more of a challenge.
The race is located at Showka, Ras Al Khaimah, which is less than an hour drive from Dubai and includes mountainous terrain, short climbs and wonderful wadis.
Though the longest distance offered is 21 kilometers for those who really want to test themselves, there is also a 10km and 5km for more casual participation.
There will be a festival zone at the post-race celebration, open to all participants and spectators. Entertainment, bonfires and live music under the stars will cap the day.

Registration closes on Thursday, March 24, or sooner if places sell out, so make sure to secure your spot as soon as possible.
The 5km costs Dh150 per person, while the 10km is priced at Dh280, as is the 21km. Included in the entry fee is timing, live results, a medal, a goody bag, refreshments, a T-shirt, entertainment, trophies, vouchers and cash prizes.

Participants are required to carry mandatory gear with them at all times on the course, consisting of 500ml hydration, a mobile phone, electrolyte tablets/powder, a whistle for help, an empty Ziploc bag, a course map printout and a first-aid kit.
The run will begin at 16:00 on the day, with bus transportation available, costing Dh60 for a return ticket.
