Building on last year’s interest, the Abu Dhabi Champions proved to be a tremendous success at the Armed Officers Club on Thursday.

As they have all season, members of Ultimate Athletics shone in their respective events.

Newcomer Noah Clarke (U11) won the 80m and 300m races by a commanding margin in times of 10.86 seconds and 47.95 seconds respectively.

Noah is a keen footballer but has natural talent and speed to continue developing strongly on track.

Another rising star Nikita Manion (17) clocked a personal test time of 12.06 secs in the 100m, just ahead of friend and rival Tatiana Thomas (12.09 secs).

Both girls train with Ultimate Athletics Elite squad four times a week.

Manion and Thomas were inspired by current England champion Kimbely Baptiste who won the senior event in a blistering time of 11.38 secs.

Noaman Elassaoui, who recently finished third in the Dubai Marathon 10km, showed pure class leading the 1500m pack to a 3 mins 50 secs victory.

In the final race, former Team GB athlete Dannish Walker-Khan produced strong displays in the men’s 100m and 200m.

Having not raced for four years due to injury, the Englishman managed to clock 10.56 secs and 21.54 secs respectively.

We look forward to seeing our athletes run again on March 19th Ultimate Racenight.
