It was the third time the two fighters have met in the ring, Pacquiao winning twice and Bradley once.

Pacquiao confirmed his retirement from fighting after the fight.

“Yes, as of now I am retired,” said Pacquiao. “I am going to go home and think about it, but I want to be with my family. I want to serve the people (of the Philippines).

“I have a commitment to my family that I am going to retire after this but I don’t know. Maybe I will enjoy being a retired man and helping the people. Thank you to all the fans in boxing, especially Filipinos. I appreciate all of your help and support.”
