  • The Bentley Emirates Silver Cup 2022 is set to conclude in spectacular fashion this weekend with an extravaganza of elite polo and unmissable entertainment.

The Dubai Polo Gold Cup organisation has brought the prestigious tournament back to the Middle East for a 12th-consecutive year under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. World-class players and many of the region’s renowned teams have convened at Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club since competition began on January 22.

Aside from the exciting live sports action, Saturday’s final-day event line-up also includes an enticing mixture of activities and generous hospitality offers.

The ‘Silver Lounge’ package is available for a Dh1,500 minimum spend per table on drinks, grants entry for up to 10 people and provides four parking passes. ‘Picnic gazeboes’ are priced at Dh1,000 inclusive of a picnic basket with snacks and beverages, event entry for four people and one parking pass.

An array of entertainment is also on offer.  A dedicated kid’s area will keep the little ones entertained with fun activities, plus there’s a picnic area for you to enjoy the match in the gorgeous weather and delicious food can also be found at an array of food trucks.

The fun doesn’t stop there, either, with amazing prizes up for grabs.

Find the Gold Coins offers a twist to the divot-stomping tradition, with two gold coins being hidden on the field worth a total of Dh7,000 in cash and gifts. Bring your pets in their cutest outfits and win gifts for you and them with the #sWAG event.

The Dubai Polo Gold Cup organisation was founded in 2009 by Mohammed Al Habtoor, patron of the Habtoor Polo team. The Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series is comprised of five tournaments namely the Silver Cup, Polo Masters Cup, IFZA Gold Cup (Dubai Open), Dubai Challenge Cup and Dubai Cup.

The Series is one of only five tournaments in the world played in the WPT Championship Cup category, on a par with world-class events held in Argentina, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States.

The Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club is the home ground for the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series and plays host to various international-standard polo tournaments throughout the year. The state-of-the-art polo and equestrian community is devoted to equine sports with the Al Habtoor Polo Resort at its centrepiece.

Set in more than six million square feet of land, the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club consists of 122 villas for lease, branded luxury homes, four polo fields, a riding school with show jumping and dressage arenas and 520 modern stables.
