  • Canadian-born Owen Hargreaves has become a respected television pundit, mainly for BT Sport, since hanging up his boots in 2012.

The midfield maestro started his career at German giants Bayern Munich and spent seven years with the club before joining Manchester United in 2007, a year on from his impressive 2006 World Cup display with England in Germany.

The 34-year-old won a Premier League and European title with the Old Trafford club under Sir Alex Ferguson, adding to the ten major trophies he claimed at Bayern, but Hargreaves was limited to just 39 appearances in four seasons in Manchester, before moving to city rivals Manchester City – where he made only four outings.

Hargreaves made 42 appearances for England.

1965 – Colin Calder, former Scotland and Tottenham defender who also managed Nottingham Forest and Hibernian (51).

1968 – Marco Gabbiadini, former Sunderland and Derby forward (48).

1968 –  Charlie Swan, rider of multiple Champion Hurdle winner Istabraq (48).

1976 – Francis Stephenson, former Wigan, London Broncos and Hull KR prop (40).
