  • (Clockwise): Mike Trout, Julian Savea and Sidney Crosby.

At the ripe age of 24, Mike Trout has already established himself as one of the greats. The American’s stratospheric performances has garnered the respect and admiration of his peers and is widely regarded baseball’s exciting future prospects.

Since his timely MLB debut in 2011, “The Millville Meteor” marvelled spectators with 11 home runs, 38 RBIs, 82 runs scored and 33 stolen bases in 91 games.  He was later named Baseball America Minor League Player of the Year and best outfielder in the Minor League All-Star team.

With his talent now evident and regular spot secured, the stage was set. In 2012, he became Rookie of the Year and narrowly fell short of the prestigious MVP accolade.

However, his hard work finally paid off and 2014 proved to be his golden year, finally earning the elusive MVP award coupled with the Hank Aaron.

Mike Trout remains a five-time All-Star and two-time All-Star Game MVP. Sporting News named him, baseball’s best player in June 2016.
