  • (L-R): Villa, White, Sanches.

Ricky Villa is a legend as far as Tottenham Hotspur fans are concerned. The Argentina midfielder joined the club in 1978 but was immortalised by a goal he scored three years later.

Villa bagged the winning goal against Manchester City in the FA Cup Final replay in 1981, an effort that went on to earn him several plaudits.

He danced past the City defence and slotted away his finish to help Tottenham lift the FA Cup.

Such was the recognition he received for that goal that he once stated:”Sometimes it feels like I only played one match and only ever scored one goal.”
