  • Sunset over The Palm: The backdrop to Wild Wadi.

Ladies can take over Wild Wadi and cool off during the hot summer months at the waterpark’s weekly Ladies’ Nights.

    – INTERVIEW: Brazil striker Marta aiming for World Cup glory
    – Friday Night Live at Dubai Sports City all set to kick off

Every Thursday, Wild Wadi, located between the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai, will exclusively host ladies wanting to experience the waterpark’s variety of rides and attractions.

Only women of all ages will be allowed in from 20:00 onward, while the waterpark’s staff and lifeguards will be all women as well.

Even the DJ playing hit music will be a respected female guest.

The athletic type can try their hand at the Wipeout FlowRider for a workout.

The attraction shoots more than seven tonnes of water per second to create a think wave effect, perfect for body-surfing and knee-boarding.

After stimulating your muscles, go for a relaxing ride in Juha’s Journey.

The 360-metre long lazy river will take riders throughout the park with a gentle current.

By the seaside: The stunning view at the top of the Jumeirah Sceirah ride.

Whether you want to start or end your day with some leisure, Juah’s Journey is a great stress-reliever.

If you’re seeking thrills, there’s no better ride than Jumeirah Sceirah to give you goosebumps.

Riders can climb 32 meters to the top of the tower, where a stunning view of the entire waterpark and two tandem slides await.

Inside the capsule, riders will cross their arms and legs and anxiously anticipate the opening of the floor hatch, which will release them down a 120-metre slide at speeds of 80 kilometres per hour.

Other rides in the waterpark include the Burj Surj, a bowl which will send riders into a spin before dropping them into a slide, Masters Blasters, an aquatic roller coaster propelled by high-powered water jets, Tantrum Alley, a four-person tube travelling downhill into ‘tornadoes’, the wave pool of Breaker’s Bay and the kid-friendly Dhow & Lagoon.

General admission for Ladies’ Night, which runs until September (excluding Ramadan), is Dh205 per person and Dh165 for those under the height of 1.1m.
Boys eight-years-old and below will be admitted by showing proof of age.
