All In Sports hosted the first one-on-one basketball streetball event as enthusiasts battled it out to win the FILA King of The District.
The passion for the sport was displayed on the courts at Dubai Design District as All In Sports held its first ever FILA King of the District 2019 on the 15th and 16th of November.
The tournament was a huge success with over 250+ supporters and over 120 players across the UAE participating with a strong intention to win the first edition of the competition.
Hundreds of supporters and basketball enthusiasts enjoyed fast paced one-on-one matches including 3-point challenges and skills challenges at the two day action packed event.
It is the first time a streetball event has been held at the venue after a series of Dubai 30×30 challenges; the streetball championship closed off the month on an energetic high.
The three category winners included Ahmed Tarek Selim crowned King of The District in the men’s category, Rose Ouma, crowned Queen of The District in the women’s category and Ahmad Kadri Rising Star of The District in the U-18 Boys category.
All In Sports, Managing Partner, Amanda Bloud commented, ‘”We have seen some impressive basketball being played. The objective of this event was to provide a competitive platform for enthusiasts and we look forward to using this as a window for them to take their game to a higher level. All In Sports have partnered with Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Design District and the UAE Basketball Association for the event that was sponsored by FILA Middle East, CAFU, Mai Dubai, Power Horse Middle East and Intercat Catering.
