It was a rugby season British School of Al Khubairat (BSAK) will not want to forget after adding three more trophies to their cabinet.
The capital outfit had already claimed five titles in the Abu Dhabi League after the boys triumphed in the U-12, U-14 and U-16 categories, while the girls came out on top in the U-14 and U-19 events.
And more success continued in the end-of-season tournament at Zayed Sports City.
BSAK’s U-12 boys side defeated neighbours Cranleigh 25-5 to make it a double, while their U-14s repeated the feat with a 15-5 win over the same opponents.
There was also something to celebrate for Al Yasmina, as their boys’ U-16s and girls’ U-14s sides were crowned champions. The U-19 girls built on their league victory by taking the top honours in the Cup.
Besides the exceptional team displays, there were some eye-catching performances from the youths.
Although Cranleigh were unable to win a title, Colby Parke was named Player of the Season in the U-12s. Al Yasmina’s Connor Gammell and BSAK’s Josh Thorpe claimed the U-14 and U-16 awards.
Meanwhile, in the UAE League, Dubai English Speaking College (DESC) took the boys’ U-12s and U-16s titles, while Dubai College won the U-14 and U-19 titles.
