India Club host badminton matches for kids with disabilities

    Workers from facilities management company Emrill Services were invited to play matches at the club, and the tournament for kids with disabilities was won by Akram Alep, with Mohammed Rakibul finishing second and Nurjujjaman in third place.

    Several children from SNF Development Center and Dubai Autism Center also visited the club and played badminton.

    Salem Mohamed, Abdur Rahman, Alen Sebastian Menachery, Ebin Gerzim Sam, Keenan Nair, Aziz Arsiwala, Yatin Vignesh Kalyan, Sakshi Bankim Sanghvi, Vijeyta Nilesh Kumar and Muneeb Sakhawat Ali were the kids from SNF Development Center.

    From Dubai Autism Center, Sean McLennan, Marwan Abdul Rahman, Saleh Aboudi, Euan Andre Soriano, Nasir Jamal Al Serkal, Haydar Aqeel Al Jandeel and Maan Arif Tayeb were the participants.

    Meanwhile, in some of the matches played, Dr Shafi Ul Mulk, who is also the tournament sponsor, and partner Sunil Singh reached the semi-finals of the Veteran Doubles (50 and above), when their rivals failed to show up for the match.

    In the only Men’s Singles match, Ketan Chahal defeated Sunil Kumar 21-4, 21-7.
