    DUBAI INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

    Tuesday, March 1

March sees the return of Middle East’s most popular marine industry exhibition to the Dubai International Marine Club.

The Marina Display and Outdoor Display areas will showcase hundreds of boats, ranging from small leisure crafts to luxury super-yachts, while there will also be an array of water-sport suppliers and manufacturers in attendance.

The event attracts an average attendance of over 25,000 visitors and day tickets will be available at the gate.

    ZURICH CORPORATE TOUCH 6S
    Friday, March 4

The Zurich Corporate Touch 6s is back for its third year but with a few tweaks and changes to ensure it is the best possible experience yet.

The sport has changed from contact to touch rugby, which is relatively more accessible and has minimal contact to encourage more people to join in the fun without the fear of injury or strain.

It is suited for all ages for both men and women and UAE Touch, who are governed by the Federation of International Touch, has endorsed the event and will be running training clinics nearer to the event.

    ITU WORLD TRIATHLON ABU DHABI
    Saturday, March 5

The Abu Dhabi event – one of only four World Triathlon Series events where Olympic qualification points are on offer – features a superb field with eight out of the world’s top-10 male triathletes confirmed for the second edition.

With a record-breaking five ITU World Championships to his name, Javier Gomez is a front runner for the title, but will face fierce competition from 25-year-old Mario Mola who is intent on retaining his Abu Dhabi title.

Alongside the professional race, there are Sprint, Olympic and Maxi distance events for amateurs. This year also sees the introduction of the Junior Aquathlon, where young triathletes (some aged just five!) get their chance to compete.

The event is spectator-friendly and features a large grandstand to take in the spectacle, while refreshment kiosks make this venue the perfect family day out.
