The teams have been divided into two pools, five in each group, with the top two sides qualifying for the semi-final. The tournament ends on September 2.

Rahul Tilani, organiser of the tournament, said: “We are extremely delighted to see the positive response the league has been getting from the first season and are happy to see UPL grow from 70 to 120 players in just three seasons.

“After seeing the enthusiasm in the last two seasons, the title sponsor Pulse Dubai, along with support sponsors SoundKraft and Sugaholic and venue partner Insportz Club, are extremely thrilled about yet another fun-filled season of the league.”

He added: “The team owners, captains along with the crew of the league are extremely motivated and inspired for this season and hope to make it a big success.”
