    Diana Taurasi, USA

    WNBA

Diana Taurasi keeps adding to her status as one of the greatest women’s basketball players of all time. At 36, she shows no signs of slowing down, having led the Phoenix Mercury to the WNBA semifinals in 2018. The shock of WNBA’s biggest star choosing to skip a season and make her money elsewhere set off a national conversation about salaries in women’s sports in the USA compared to in Europe and China. While that conversation continues, so does Taurasi’s career – she says she has no plans of retiring just yet. What will 2019 bring?
